The key duties of the position include The Role The Industry Intelligence Capability (IIC) team is seeking a motivated APS 5 Project Support Officer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop project management skills while supporting the implementation and maintenance of Defence's industry systems that enable informed decision-making. Experience or interest in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and preparing advice for senior Defence leaders and Ministers is highly desirable. About our Team The Industry Engagement (IE) Division within the Capability Sustainment and Acquisition Group (CASG) implements the Defence Industry Development Strategy, enabling a strong, secure, and competitive domestic industrial base aligned with Defence priorities. The Office of Defence Industry Support (ODIS) works with businesses, industry associations, and state and territory governments to build a globally competitive and sustainable Australian defence industry. ODIS strengthens the Defence-industry relationship through initiatives in industry development, critical skills, export programs, and by facilitating access to Defence innovation programs for small and medium enterprises. Supporting this mission, the Industrial Intelligence Capability (IIC) directorate designs, establishes, and maintains systems, tools, and data for informed decision-making, including platforms such as Palantir Foundry, SNAP, DBRT , JOSCAR, SRS, and ServiceNow.
