EPIC ESSENTIALS We’re seeking a Project Environmental Scientist with a minimum of 4 years’ experience — ideally with exposure to the NSW mining sector — to join our growing team. Working closely with our experienced Team Leaders and Principal Environmental Scientists, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects across environmental approvals, construction environmental management, and compliance monitoring. You’ll contribute to a diverse range of projects by: • Preparing high-quality reports, correspondence, and environmental assessments • Undertaking environmental research, data analysis, and fieldwork • Applying your understanding of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation to support practical and compliant project outcomes This role offers exposure to high-profile projects and the opportunity to grow your technical and leadership skills within a supportive, people-focused consultancy. WHAT YOU WILL BRING • A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience (6 years for a Senior role) • A tertiary qualification in Environmental Planning, Environmental Management, or a related discipline • Demonstrated experience in statutory and environmental planning, environmental management, compliance monitoring, and impact assessment • Strong working knowledge of NSW environmental legislation, with QLD experience an advantage • Experience in the construction and/or resources sectors, ideally within mining projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation • A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and accountability for quality project delivery WHY EPIC?
