See yourself in our team As part of the engineering squad, you will be involved in key strategic initiatives that transform the Business user experience, drive continuous improvement and risk buy-down. You will work closely with the Product Owner and squad to deliver business functionality and experience via significant strategic transformation and change delivery. We’re interested in hearing from people who Have solid hands-on experience developing APIs, microservices, backend components, data access layers, and driving innovative process improvements that add significant business value Are knowledgeable and experienced in AI technology in future proofing our build Are passionate designing, developing and deploying high quality software solutions as you are shaping the technical evolution of this system by contributing to end-to-end design, implementation Have experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices with specific focus on the following concepts: source control, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring Are ready to execute state-of-the-art coding practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives and minimise risks Are constantly collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and contributing to the design Pride themselves on their natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups Have solid hands-on experience in the banking domain will be advantageous Are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems Have solid hands- experience with Cloud native development in AWS Are knowledgeable coaching junior engineers, sharing their expertise to uplift and improve software development practices Tech Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team Core Java JavaScript frameworks - Angular, React Expertise with Microservices, Restful API design pattern and solution design Databases - Oracle, Aurora AI tools in AWS or Azure DevOps and CI/CD – TeamCity, GitHub Copilot or Octopus Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, AWS Cloudwatch AI & Machine learning and LLM knowledge is desired Kafka, SNS/SQS Expertise with Security Engineering principles and implementation Cloud native development - AWS preferred AWS Cloud – Certification Understanding on DevSecOps environment and landscape, SRE Practices Working with us Whether you’re passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with us is for you.
