The Role The Power Platform Administrator is responsible for managing the application environment. This includes developing governance frameworks, implementing security policies, monitoring platform performance and usage, and managing user access and support. The role also involves overseeing environments, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating integrations with other enterprise systems to support business objectives. As a key technical role, the administrator collaborates closely with internal development teams, integration specialists, corporate IT support, and external service providers to ensure that the NQA IT system operates effectively and efficiently. This role is full time and fixed-term (9 months) at ACECQA Band 5/6 ($103,179 - $140,976). The key duties of the position include Key Accountabilities • Manage environments, data policies, and user access across Power Platform and Azure. • Monitor and maintain platform health, performance, and usage. • Manage Microsoft releases and coordinate impact analyses for features, changes, and updates to ensure the integrity of the system. • Establish and enforce data loss prevention (DLP) policies, security roles, and access controls. • Implement governance and compliance standards for Power Platform and Azure solutions. • Develop documentation, templates, and guidelines to support consistent platform usage. • Provide technical support for Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, connectors, and data sources. • Contributes to problem resolution to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements • Support business continuity and disaster recovery design and planning activities. • Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and customisations. • Support CI/CD pipelines and ALM practices for Power Platform solutions. • Ensure role-based access control and data loss prevention policies are enforced. • Monitor audit logs and usage analytics for compliance and risk management. • Work with cybersecurity teams to align with organisational security standards. • Promote best practices and reusable components across teams. • Provides implementation advice and technical expertise. • Shares information, technical knowledge, etc. to help the team achieve project related goals and to improve the overall team knowledge base. • Works collaboratively with other team members and contributes knowledge and support to the overall team. • Leads knowledge sharing initiatives. • Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Assists in strategic planning, program and project management and/or policy development for the function or service area. • Other duties as required.
