Job Roles and Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to relevant laws and regulations. Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Administer vaccinations and provide necessary education and follow-up care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care. Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage conditions. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Promote over-the-counter medications, health and beauty products, and other retail items through effective sales and marketing strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and professional standards. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Foster a positive team environment by encouraging collaboration and effective communication among colleagues. No Methadone nor needle exchange Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records. Proficiency in medication packing and inventory management processes. Commitment to time management and ability to work effectively under pressure. Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and processes.
