Flourish Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Peer Worker to join our Queanbeyan Mental Health Hub team. The position available is: Full-time closed-term until 30 June 2026 (76 hours per fortnight) Part-time can be negotiated with the preferred candidate Working Monday to Friday Based in Queanbeyan Attractive hourly rates equivalent to $38.65-$41.45/hour Super Tax-Free Salary Packaging About the Opportunity As a Peer Worker with Flourish Australia, your own life experience of a mental health issue and personal recovery will provide a distinct advantage as you mentor and support people with lived experience of a mental health issue. You will be required to use this lived experience openly, appropriately and effectively to build professional relationships with the people you support that also have a lived experience of a mental health issue. The Queanbeyan Mental Health Hub focusses specifically on rural and remote communities. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate extensive knowledge and/or experience of working with First Nations communities.
