About the Role: We’re looking for someone early in their payroll career who is keen to grow and take the next step. As a Payroll Officer, you’ll gain valuable exposure to payroll operations, employee lifecycle administration, and process improvement—all while contributing to a high-performing team in a trusted organisation. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing – Support pay run activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Contract & Document Management – Retrieve and organise physical contracts (Rhodes-based role requires 3 days in-office). Employee Lifecycle Support – Assist with onboarding, terminations, and employee changes. Payroll Reporting – Download key documents and review payroll reports ahead of processing. Process Enhancement – Help identify and implement improvements to payroll workflows. Team & Employee Support – Answer payroll queries and support internal teams where needed. Ideal Skills & Experience: Some experience in payroll processing, with a desire to learn and grow. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Confident communicator with a strong customer service mindset. Comfortable working independently and in a team setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
