We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for our Australian employees, ensuring compliance with legislation while providing responsive, professional payroll support to staff and managers. This role is part-time working 22 hours per week - we are flexible on what days. What you’ll do: Process accurate and timely payroll in line with company schedules Maintain payroll data for starters, leavers, salary changes, allowances, and deductions Ensure compliance with Fair Work, Awards/EBAs, superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax obligations Reconcile superannuation, PAYG, and leave balances Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries, providing clear and professional advice Prepare reports for HR, Finance, and statutory purposes Contribute to payroll system improvements and audits What you’ll bring: 2–3 years’ experience in Australian payroll administration Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Fair Work requirements Experience with payroll systems such as MicrOpay, ADP, SAP, or Chris21 High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset Excellent organisational and time management skills Certificate IV in Payroll Administration, HR, or Accounting (desirable) If you’re passionate about payroll, highly detail-oriented, and ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
