Full-Time Pastry Chef - Goose Goose Bake Pty Ltd, Rozelle NSW 2039 About the Role: Goose Goose Bake Pty Ltd, a local favourite in Rozelle, is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join its dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, creating, and presenting a wide range of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that meet our exacting standards and delight customers. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and execute a diverse range of pastries, bread, and desserts, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation. Develop and create new pastry and bread offerings using local flavours and seasonal ingredients. Oversee ingredient ordering, storage, and inventory management to maintain quality and minimize waste. Execute the complete pastry production process, including dough preparation, baking, cooling, and decoration. Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene, safety, and WorkSafe regulations. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Skills & Qualifications: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a bakery setting. Strong understanding of pastry techniques and high-quality food preparation. Knowledge of Australian Food Hygiene Regulations and safe handling practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
