Key Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards, and ensure patient safety through thorough medication reviews and counselling. Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care by conducting medication management reviews, offering clinical interventions, and providing expert advice on drug therapy and disease management. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure seamless continuity of care and effective communication regarding patient treatment plans. Promote and administer vaccinations to eligible patients, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up care. Engage in patient counselling and education, ensuring clear understanding of medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence to treatment regimens. Manage inventory levels, place orders, and maintain accurate records of controlled substances and pharmaceutical supplies. Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards governing the practice of pharmacy. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree recognised in Australia. Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare professionals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in vaccinations , with a commitment to staying up-to-date with current guidelines and best practices. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and technology.
