No optical experience is necessary as training will be provided. You’ll be part of a close-knit group of professionals — including 4 Optometrists, a Vision Therapist, 2 Dispensers, and a receptionist — who take pride in providing personalised, behavioural optometry care to our loyal and referral-based patients. What's on offer Above award salary No late nights Supportive team environment Staff discounts on eyewear Comprehensive on-the-job training Willing to complete your Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing About the role This part-time or full time position includes some weekend work: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday morning (3 per month) You’ll be warmly supported through an induction and training program to help you succeed. Your day-to-day will include: anaging reception and making client appointments for optometrists and Vision Therapist Assisting clients to choose frames, lenses, sunglasses, and accessories Providing friendly and attentive customer service Working with children who have special needs About you We’d love to hear from you if you: Have strong communication and people skills Enjoy working with both adults and children (experience with kids a plus!) Have at least 2 years of retail sales experience Completed Year 12 English and Maths Are not currently studying full time Have a driver’s licence and car (preferred, not essential) If you’re passionate about customer care, love learning new skills, and want to grow your career in a supportive environment — we’d love to meet you!
