ABOUT NORTHSIDE SPEECH PATHOLOGY Northside Speech Pathology is a respected speech pathology practice catering to the needs of children with developmental disabilities and delays. We specialise in working with children with ASD through a strengths-based approach. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a passionate, warm, caring Occupational Therapist to join our team. The person we are looking for needs to meet the following essential criteria: Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with AHPRA Current Working with Children Check and Police Check Drivers Licence and own vehicle Eligibility for Medicare provider number Excellent organisation, time and case management skills Excellent written communication skills Ability to develop strong rapport with children, parents, teachers and carers Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development Previous experience Minimum 1-2 years of clinical paediatric experience Experience working with children on the Autism spectrum preferred RESPONSIBILITIES Daily responsibilities will include: Managing a clinical caseload including assessment and therapy in the home, preschool and school settings Participation in monthly staff development activities with the other members of the team PACKAGE Remuneration: $85,000 - $95,000 per annum (depending on experience), pro rata Would consider a contracting role for more experienced therapists HIRING PROCESS The hiring process will include the following steps: resume review screening call first interview online profiling reference check offer NEXT STEPS Please include a cover letter, references and resume with your application and email it.
