About The Role InsideOut Institute receives funding from the NSW Ministry of Health and is housed at University of Sydney in collaboration with Sydney LHD. It is the central leadership and management point for all Ministry related eating disorder activities in NSW. The purpose of this position is to provide Statewide leadership in service planning, treatment pathways and treatment programs to improve the care for people with an eating disorder across NSW. The position supports the Statewide Coordinator for Eating Disorders to provide senior clinical leadership and management of the activities of the NSW Ministry of Health relating to eating disorders including providing support and advice regarding care co-ordination and pathway facilitation to local eating disorder coordinators and supporting LHDs to embed best-practice approaches and evidence-based treatments for eating disorders in NSW services. The position will also support InsideOut to develop and produce high quality training materials, a clinical training centre, processes, structures, clinical services and resources to improve clinical practice and support the implementation of the NSW Service Plan for People with Eating Disorders (2020-2024). This role will be based at Charles Perkins Centre. For more information, please view the Position Description Ideal Candidate Recognised post graduate qualifications in the health sciences and/or extensive experience in a relevant health discipline. Demonstrated ability to provide high level leadership, strategic planning and advice. High level ‘expert’ knowledge of eating disorder management, treatment, evidence base and policy with extensive direct clinical experience managing a broad range of eating disorder cases and settings, including demonstrated complex clinical case management.
