We’re growing our team and are looking for 3 reliable and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our casual pool. This role involves supporting an individual living with a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and is ideal for someone confident with complex care, personal care, and sleepover support. You’ll be joining a professional, supportive organisation that values teamwork, safety, and person-centred practice. About the Role As a Disability Support Worker with Nextt, you’ll assist with daily living tasks, complex personal care, and community participation. You’ll work a variety of morning, afternoon, evening, and sleepover shifts, providing consistent, high-quality support that promotes independence and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Personal care Bowel care and catheter care Hoist transfers and safe manual handling Meal preparation Community access and appointments Accurate documentation and reporting Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment What We’re Looking For Experience supporting clients with Spinal Cord Injury Skilled in bowel care, catheter care, and hoist use Strong reliability and communication Able to work independently and follow detailed support plans Available for one sleepover shift per week Commitment to person-centred, high-quality support Casual Shifts Available 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM 9:30 PM – 10:30 PM Sleepover 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM Pay Rates (SCHADS Award E3.1 – Casual, before tax) Base: $35.15 Afternoon: $38.67 Active Night: $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public Holiday: $77.33 Join Nextt and be part of a supportive team delivering meaningful care while making a real difference in someone’s life.
