The National Facilities Manager, National Business Exhibits Operation Support (NBEOS), will provide strategic leadership and oversight of facilities management services across all ACIC offices nationally. Our national team support five core service areas, including Operational Support, Business Support, Exhibits Management, Fleet Management, and Facilities Management. The key duties of the position include As a National Facilities Manager you will: Provide strong leadership, management and mentoring of a national team Manage the National Facilities Program, including planning and facilitating stakeholder engagement activities Manage the facilities compliance and governance framework, including providing policy updates and reporting Engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to work on facilities requirements and consult nationally at Assistant Director level and above Coordinate maintenance schedules Your skills and capabilities We invite applications from people with the following experience, skills and attributes: National Facilities Management experience Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a nationally dispersed team in a dynamic service delivery role, with an ability to mentor and grow a team of regional facilities coordinators The ability to negotiate and manage competing demands from managers and executives Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise tasks quickly to respond to changing demands and circumstances A proven ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Sound judgement and the ability to problem-solve Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence and professionalism, including the ability to respond in a positive and flexible manner to change and uncertainty Ability to travel regularly to ACIC offices Desirable skills and experience A minimum of 2 years' experience in Facilities Management or management of a national/international capability Previous stakeholder engagement with middle and senior management
