On behalf DS Reo Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator. This Permanent full-time position involves precision metal fabrication and welding for construction projects. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Measure, align, and secure metal components using callipers, rulers, clamps, welding machines, or other metal working tools to produce parts and assemblies for various construction projects, specifically focusing on steel. Operate cutting tools and machinery such as saws, shears, and grinders to cut, bend, and straighten metal pieces as required in steel fixing and construction projects. - Weld or join metal components using various welding techniques (such as MIG, TIG, arc welding) to create complex structures or components in line with project requirements. Examine fabricated components to ensure they conform to specifications, adjusting, or corrections as necessary to meet high-quality standards. Monitor and maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order and comply with safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects, while adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the construction and metal fabrication industry. Interpret assembly instructions. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant position. Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail and precision. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
