About the Role Are you passionate about rural supply chains and customer service? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Rural Merchandise/Warehouse Officer to join our team. In this role, you will manage stock, coordinate warehouse activities, and ensure the efficient supply of farm inputs to both our retail business and farming operations. Your Responsibilities will include: Conducting regular stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory Monitoring stock and advise the procurement team of requirements Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies Overseeing receiving, storage, and dispatch processes Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift Unpacking and dispatching orders efficiently Maintaining a safe and well-presented store and warehouse Assisting customers with sales, pricing, and product enquiries Collecting and delivering products from suppliers and farms Performing general administration duties Ensuring a safe workplace and actively participating in safety and environmental practices in our business About Us Altora Ag is a leading Australian agribusiness dedicated to supporting rural communities and driving innovation in agriculture. About You Previous experience in a merchandise environment preferred, but not essential Current driver’s license required; truck license a bonus Forklift license desirable or willingness to obtain on the job High level of attention to detail and strong communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ag Safe qualifications or willingness to obtain on the job Proficient in Office IT systems and basic computer skills Competency in towing a trailer desirable but not essential Why Join Altora Ag?
