We’re seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a 6-week new construction project at the Elanora Water Treatment Plant . This role offers long hours, penalty rates , and the chance to contribute to critical water infrastructure . Key Responsibilities Install pumps, valves, and piping Fit motors and rotating machinery Assemble and align filtration systems Read and interpret drawings and P&IDs Assist with commissioning and testing activities Qualifications/Experience Required Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter or equivalent Confined Space ticket (mandatory) Working at Heights ticket (mandatory) Experience in water treatment or industrial construction preferred Ability to read and work from technical drawings What’s on Offer $55/hr penalty rates 10–12-hour days with 6:30 am starts week project with immediate start Work on a major water infrastructure build Supportive site team and strong safety culture Work Culture You’ll be part of a leading Australian specialist in water and wastewater infrastructure, known for delivering innovative technologies and end-to-end project solutions.
