This is your opportunity to contribute to life-changing innovations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.  About the Role  As a Mechanical Engineer at ResMed, you’ll be part of a cross-functional project team responsible for designing, developing, and verifying new products from concept to production. You’ll work within ResMed’s quality standards to deliver solutions that meet user needs in the most cost- and time-efficient manner.  Key Responsibilities  Collaborate with peers to define and deliver high-value solutions.  Communicate progress and risks proactively with a solutions-focused mindset.  Own your technical growth and continuously build your engineering skills.  Operate within a regulated medical device environment, ensuring quality outcomes.  Adhere to ResMed’s engineering best practices and processes.  Embody ResMed’s core competencies and values in all aspects of your work.  What You’ll Bring  Core Competencies:  Strong technical problem-solving skills with guidance from senior engineers.  Ownership of personal development and learning.  Effective collaboration and communication within teams and with stakeholders.  Innovative thinking in design, materials, and technology.  Commitment to quality and adherence to medical device standards.  Accountability and a drive for results.  Position-Specific Skills:  Experience with product development documentation and design history files.  Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.  Proficiency in 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred).  Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., Ansys, MoldFlow , Minitab).  Experience in test, verification, and validation processes.  CFD experience (CFX or Fluent) preferred.  AI knowledge or experience preferred.  Qualifications  Minimum:  Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.  Preferred:  Engineering experience in medical device product development.   Why ResMed?  At ResMed, we’re passionate about improving lives through innovative healthcare solutions.
