Responsibilities Product Design Systems : Design, implement, and maintain product design systems to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Innovative & Practical Design : Create cutting-edge product and concept designs with practical use. Client Consultation : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and meet design requirements. Problem Solving : Address and resolve design challenges effectively. Material Innovation : Explore and utilise innovative materials and processes. 3D CAD Expertise : Perform detailed 3D CAD modeling and detailing. Prototyping : Develop prototypes for concept designs. Design Consistency : Oversee the design style of product families, ensuring consistency in aesthetics, installation, usability, and function. Best Practices : Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in industrial design engineering, including vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance operational performance. Technical Input : Provide technical insights for component and material selection. Material Efficiency : Analyse and optimise material usage. Market Research : Conduct market research, analyse competitor products, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
