The technology has been adopted by select areas within the US government and is regarded as state-of-the-art in attack surface reduction, threat intelligence and secure infrastructure protection. FA US has been granted distribution rights to commercialise the technology across key Asia-Pacific markets. The business model is primarily strategic-partnership led - collaborating with IT consulting and technology integration partners. Purpose of the Role The Managing Director is responsible for establishing and scaling the Australian operation of the business, advising on market-entry strategy, identifying and securing strategic commercial partners, and representing FA AU and FA US (together the "Group") in high-trust institutional negotiations. The role requires cross-border professional experience and the ability to build credibility with institutional-level partners capable of enabling regional adoption. Key Responsibilities : Contribute in the formulation and execution of the Group regional business strategy, including expansion into Australia, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and India. Develop commercial partnership models and identify prospective strategic partners across IT consulting firms, telecommunications, defence, enterprise software integrators, MSPs and government-aligned distributors. Establish and maintain senior-level relationships to advance regional business development opportunities. Assist the FA US CEO in negotiations with potential partners, advising on financial assessment, market conditions, and local regulatory considerations. Support US head office in cross-border negotiations for licensing, sublicensing and commercial structuring of regional partnership arrangements. Develop and present proposals to potential capital providers, including venture capital and private equity investors, to secure funding for key growth milestones. Drive strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting to support the Group's long-term objectives. Monitors operational progress, undertake analyses and recommend appropriate action to take advantage of emerging trends and changing circumstances. Scaling the Australia operation to support growing client base and sales activities including recruiting, training and evaluating key personnel. Required Skills and Experience : Senior executive professional experience across major Asia-Pacific markets (e.g., Australia, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and India), including establishment and strategic scaling of new-market operations. Demonstrated capability in forming institutional-level partnerships, joint ventures or alliance arrangements in cross-border contexts. Experience engaging with venture capital, private equity and institutional investors in connection with capital raising and commercialisation strategies. Strong commercial negotiation track record involving complex multi-party arrangements. Working understanding of financial, investment and partnership structuring concepts. Qualifications : Undergraduate bachelor's degree (business, finance, law, engineering or related field). Post-graduate degree preferred (MBA or equivalent), but not strictly required.
