See yourself in our Team The Product Line 1 Risk Chapter sits within the CommSec Central Controls Office (CCO) and is accountable for providing end to end risk support for the Product Domain, the central design and manufacturing teams for CommSec, responsible for: Providing value to our customers; through ensuring our products and services are suitable, fair and transparent; Ensuring consistency, security and reliability of service; Making our processes easy for Customers to invest with us; Providing proactive and relevant support for customers with their investment needs; Ensuring sustainable compliance, regulatory obligations are met and that we have an enhanced control environment to ensure we operate within CommSec and BB’s Risk appetite. On any given day you will As a Manager Risk and Controls, you will report directly to the Chapter Lead for Product Line 1 Risk. Your role will be focused on effective management of risks within CommSec’s Product Domain, including ensuring product design and distribution compliance, control design and testing, regulatory and policy change implementation, risk support for business change initiatives, incident and issue management and root cause analysis. You will also support key projects and other day to day tasks as part of the Chapter or a particular aligned Pace squad to deliver the overall business objectives. This is a position with the ability to work flexibly. We're interested in hearing from people who have: Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks; Pro-active self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, attention to detail and communication and influencing skills; Experience in financial services industry with understanding of regulatory landscape and awareness of operational risk management framework and principles; Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives at once; Proven ability to achieve results with a track record of performance; and ​Demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
