Aspect Personnel are working with a council in West Victoria to recruit a Manager to lead council's Project Management Office/Team. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role and drive systems and process improvements whilst managing day to day operations. You will be responsible for: Management of staff (Team of Five) Internal stakeholder engagement, coordinating between the PMO, clients and stakeholders across council Preparing Council reports Ensuring adherence to OH&S policies and guidelines Ensuring adherence to best practice for capital project delivery Team leadership and driving process and system improvements As the ideal candidate you will have/be: A Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria (BLA) Previous leadership and management experience ideally within a government environment Experience in establishing and/or managing a PMO Experience managing / leading capital works projects A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills If you would like to review a Position Description or discuss this role in more detail or other opportunities within Local Government, please contact: Michael Parker on 0431 593 048 or send an email to m.parker @aspectpersonnel.com.au Alternatively, you can apply by using the link below.
