About the team: Securities and Payments (S&P) at ASX manages the clearing and settlement of equities and fixed income trades, ensuring secure transfer of securities and funds between participants. The role is a blend of business-as-usual activities for S&P stakeholder engagement with a focus working to deliver and execute on external stakeholder requirements to manage resilience and other activities for Austraclear. In this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and project managers to produce internal external-facing, publication-quality industry artefacts. What you will be doing: How we do things at ASX is just as important as what we do. This means, if you're a people leader, you will be responsible for both the core duties outlined below, and providing leadership to your team to ensure we foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment, where people feel empowered, accountable, and deeply connected (as outlined in our Leadership Principles). Simplify the Complex – Translate complex concepts and processes into easy-to-understand language and visuals, including customer and industry-facing presentations, senior internal reporting and external reports for regulatory and public reports. Develop Industry and Regulatory Artefacts – Produce publication-quality documentation and presentation materials, including the internal senior stakeholders. Collaborate and Manage Stakeholders – Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs), senior stakeholders, and various teams across the organisation throughout the documentation and presentation development process, including content creation, review and approval, and publication of presentation materials for industry, regulatory and other external participants. Ensure Quality and Consistency – Maintain consistency in style, tone, and terminology across documentation and presentation packs, ensuring clarity and adherence to ASX and industry best practices. Preparing and reviewing written materials including information papers, drafting of meeting papers, public communications and regulatory reports and submissions. Committee secretariat management – including organisational ownership, drafting of agendas, minutes and papers as applicable, preparing speaking notes and run sheet, drafting board papers for liaison with Company Secretary, ad hoc tasks Develop, contribute and edit working group presentation materials for external publication Drive content and prepare materials for regulatory engagement Attend and contribute client and industry meetings Bringing a can-do attitude to the stakeholder engagement strategy; pitching in to ensure that all team deliverables are achieved on schedule What you will bring: Must have Prior Experience: Minimum five years financial services, risk, compliance, legal, accounting, assurance and/or IT experience, preferably in a top tier management or consultancy or professional financial services firms or banks or other financial industry firms. Experience in technical or regulatory or transformation project content development, document creation and presentation packs for external stakeholder audiences would be highly valued. Technical Skills: Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information. Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality, customer-facing presentation packs tailored for industry participants, including visual storytelling and data visualisation. Experience creating process diagrams, infographics, presentation packs to enhance technical documentation. Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of financial services and securities services and/or financial regulation would be highly valued. Communication Expertise: Excellent ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to industry participants and software vendors in both long-form and detailed specification formats, without the use of artificial intelligence. Stakeholder Management: Ability to leverage the content and IP across a broad range of stakeholders across teams and functions. Strong understanding of audience engagement strategies and presentation design principles. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts. Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to accuracy, consistency, and high-quality work. Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Nice to have: Industry Experience: Familiarity with capital markets, securities trading, or regulatory environments. Training & Facilitation: Ability to support training initiatives by developing learning materials and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions.
