BOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is proudly Australia's leading steel manufacturing and distribution company. Looking for machine Operators / Forklift drivers to join their team in Newcastle. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for applicant's who's skills and experience align with the below: Driving Forklifts which will include some basic machine loading and unloading / packaging tasks. All roles require good physical fitness with mechanical aptitude required. Relevant industrial experience is an asset but not essential. Successful applicants will be provided with all the necessary training to succeed in the role. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Good attitude & behaviours Willingness and ability to learn Good attendance Good attitude towards safety. Physically fit, punctual, and reliable each day Pass pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screening Forklift ticket Rotating shift work experience - Day, Afternoon & night. It is essential you have your current Driving Licence and reliable transport. You will be required to provide a Police Check and undergo a medical once offered the role.
