Great Opportunity! Our client who is a leader in the manufacture of milk products is seeking to appoint a FMGC Machine Operator for their facility in Geelong. Night Shift Benefits: Great Company Career Development Opportunities Casual Rates with Permanent Hours Opportunity for Permanency Key Responsibilities: Understand all matters relating to Health and Safety by understanding and abiding by the Health and Safety policy. Always establish safe working practices Support team members to comply with and participate in best practice principles Support team members participation in Health and Safety training Ensure all hazards, injuries and accidents are reported through the designated process. Ensure contractors are inducted and monitored to ensure they comply with the safety procedures and systems. Responsibility on a shift-by-shift basis for the manufacture of correct amounts of product at lowest cost while meeting quality standards. Operating of the highly automated process equipment to the requirements of the Company procedures Has direct control of the conversion of the milk and ingredients into powdered products. Takes full ownership for the cleaning and sanitation in the dryer and evaporator areas, including performing daily operations and cleaning of equipment. Clearly understand the regulatory environment and policies for the operation and ensured production systems, documentation and processes comply at all times. Ensures accurate and timely completion and review of production records. Ensuring and monitoring of plant housekeeping and hygiene standards Works with shift team to identify and resolve issues to enhance GMP compliance. Work closely with Production management on product formulas and operating parameter Plan run lengths, quantities and cleaning of process equipment (both internal and external) Experience Required: Food / FMCG manufacturing (Dairy manufacturing preferred) Full Australian work right Proven ability to work in a food manufacturing environment and experience with Food Safety and HACCP systems Advanced problem solving and fault-finding abilities Base mechanical, electrical and automation knowledge would be an advantage Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and planning skills Ability to multi-task in a pressurized environment Knowledge and application of industrial and personal safety behaviors If you are looking for a great opportunity and possess the skills & experience required - please apply now or contact me directly at Office 03 90 697 | Email jess.wilson@rprtrades.com Please note you MUST reside in Australia to be considered for this position.
