Bring your skills to the classroom! A Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) lets you bring your skills to the classroom without full teacher registration! We’re looking for passionate individuals who: Have experience working with groups of secondary-aged students (13–18 years old) Enjoy supporting and inspiring young people Are based in Auckland or Wellington Hold New Zealand working rights How we can help While the Teaching Council of Aotearoa decides whether to grant a LAT, we’ll support you through every step of the process. We’ll explain the next steps and help guide your application We’ll connect you with a school willing to endorse your application Once approved, we will provide you with relief teaching opportunities that suit your availability!
