What's the role? Opportunity for a motivated Reporter to join the lifestyle team at News Corp Australia and produce compelling lifestyle content for news.com.au. Key Responsibilities: Pitch, write and produce compelling lifestyle content that will be read by millions of Australians Option to appear on camera in videos to appear both on and off platform Work with the lifestyle editor and team of reporters Cover national and global news, parenting, health, real life, retail, food, fashion, relationships and fitness stories. Use social media to stay on top of topics that are trending and find ideas for stories Use analytics to inform story choices Pitch and deliver unique content that will drive conversation, engagement and click-throughs across multiple platforms Some weekend shifts and work outside of usual hours Who are you? Successful reporter with at least two years experience in a busy digital newsroom Passionate about lifestyle stories Highly motivated and full of ideas Strong writing skills and an understanding of how to use headlines and pictures to hook readers.
