As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to support our franchise and legal operations Role Overview The Legal Coordinator will support the executive team with legal administration, franchise compliance, documentation, and operational legal workflows. This is an ideal role for a law student or recent law graduate seeking exposure to commercial, franchising, and corporate law in a high-growth business environment. You will work closely with the Founder & CEO, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure processes are compliant, efficient, and systemised. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating franchise legal documentation, including: Franchise Agreements Disclosure Documents & FDDs NDA and confidentiality agreements Employment and contractor agreements Conduct legal research on franchise law, commercial agreements, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions Assist with onboarding franchise partners and ensuring compliance with: Franchising Code of Conduct Consumer and business laws Corporate governance requirements Maintain legal registers, filing systems, and document version control Support with correspondence and communication with legal partners and regulatory bodies Help draft and review internal policies and compliance checklists Manage sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality Who You Are You are driven, hungry to learn, and passionate about law and business. Remuneration Casual hourly rate: $28–$36 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Superannuation paid in accordance with Australian employment standards Flexible work hours to support university study commitments Opportunity for increased responsibilities and pay progression as skills develop Note: High-performing team members may be offered expanded part-time or full-time roles upon graduation. Requirements Currently studying Law (or recent graduate) Strong attention to detail and written communication skills Ability to interpret legal documents and regulatory guidelines High level of professionalism, organisation, and time-management Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Keen interest in franchising, corporate, or commercial law Preferred (not essential) Previous exposure to corporate, commercial, or franchising law Experience reviewing or drafting commercial contracts Familiarity with document management systems Benefits Flexible casual working arrangement (part-time hours) Hybrid working opportunity (Sydney HQ remote) Work alongside senior leadership, including the CEO Hands-on experience within a fast-scaling global franchise business Exposure to real-world commercial & franchising matters early in your legal career Opportunity for future growth within the organisation
