We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Legal AI & Innovation Associate with a junior lawyer background to join our innovative and growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AI tools in their legal work and a passion for technology, innovation, and improving how law is practised. Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to design and refine AI-driven solutions to streamline legal workflows and improve overall efficiency. Conduct legal research and analysis using AI tools to inform product development. Assist in reviewing and creating legal document templates, ensuring compliance and usability for practitioners. Provide feedback on legal workflows and user experience from a practitioner’s perspective. Provide training and support to stakeholders and clients on the effective use of AI tools and technologies. Contribute to training materials, webinars, and social media content to support CORTO’s engagement and education initiatives. Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, legal technology and professional regulation to continuously enhance CORTO’s capabilities. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. Admission to practice law in an Australia state or territory. 1-3 years of experience as a junior lawyer, with a focus on utilising AI tools in legal work. Strong understanding of legal principles, procedures, and practices. Proficiency in using AI-powered document review tools and/or legal research. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Preferred Skills Experience with specific AI tools and platforms used in the legal industry. Familiarity with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations. Basic coding skills in any programming language would be highly regarded. Background in transactional law, conveyancing or business law would be preferred. Benefits What We Offer Flexible hybrid work environment.
