About the Role Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Leading Hand to oversee daily operations within the Despatch and Glazing Department . This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in leading a small team, maintaining smooth workflow, and ensuring products meet the company's high-quality standards. You'll be responsible for coordinating staff, managing workloads, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive workplace. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support team members in the Despatch and Glazing Department Oversee daily operations , including product handling, glass installation, and order preparation Ensure all outgoing products are checked, packaged, and loaded accurately and safely Maintain quality control standards across glazing and despatch processes Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals Uphold workplace safety procedures and company policies About You Proven experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within manufacturing, glazing, or despatch Strong understanding of window and door manufacturing or glazing processes Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) is advantageous Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on environment What's in it for you?
