As a Vice President in the Risk Management and Compliance team, you will supervise a portfolio of institutional and corporate clients across various industries. You will lead due diligence, structuring, and documentation for transactions, and provide forward-looking credit analysis to support business decisions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and contribute to the development of junior team members, all while helping us maintain a strong and resilient risk culture. Job responsibilities Supervise and manage an assigned portfolio of institutional and corporate clients across a range of industries Lead due diligence, structuring, and documentation for transactions Review credit analysis and financial modeling to provide insights into clients’ industries and key business and financial risks Exercise meaningful credit approval authority Collaborate with transaction stakeholders, including client coverage, product bankers, credit executives, and legal counsel Review credit and regulatory reporting requirements Mentor and develop junior team members Track market and industry developments and assess their impact on clients Recommend and monitor internal credit ratings Support the team with ongoing ad-hoc initiatives and workstreams Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in accounting, business, finance, or a quantitative discipline Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a credit risk or credit analysis role within corporate, institutional, or investment banking Strong credit risk analysis skills, including both qualitative and quantitative analysis In-depth understanding of products across Australian debt markets and derivatives, as well as related documentation Ability to identify key issues and concerns related to clients, industries, and transaction structures Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment Ability to build relationships and interact confidently with origination teams and other internal stakeholders High proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling, as well as other MS programs (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience mentoring and developing junior team members Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements Demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo Experience working in a dynamic and growing team environment Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workstreams Professional qualifications from reputable training institutes or professional bodies
