About your new employer: Our client is a leading specialist law firm , recognised nationally and internationally for excellence in insurance and dispute resolution. The insurance practice— among the largest in Australia —serves a wide range of clients, from insurers, insured, and brokers across a wide variety of classes. About the role: Work closely with a Partner & Head of the Sydney Office , as well as a Special Counsel . Act in a broad range of insurance matters, including coverage advice, coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and defending litigated claims . Assist in drafting pleadings, affidavits, advices, negotiating settlements, and preparing for mediations and trials. Liaise with external counsel, clients, brokers, and experts. The ideal candidate: Have at least 3–7 years of experience in insurance law. Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; capable of managing competing tasks. Excellent communication, client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
