About the role: As a Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety. You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents. Key responsibilities: Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards Preparation and cleaning in accordance with defined cleaning standards Understanding residents special dietary requirements About you: Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work as a team player Flexibility to work varied shifts Previous experience in Hospitality ‘back of house’, Kitchen operations Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards What we can offer you: A competitive remuneration package An opportunity to develop within the Aged Care Industry – Multi Skilled positions available across Hotel Services (Kitchen, Laundry, Cleaning) Access to Staff Discounts and Benefits across major Retail, Hospitality and Health outlets
