OPERATIONS MANAGER | PORT MAQUARIE | FULL-TIME | MIXED- PORTFOLIO About the Role As the Operations Manager (internally known as a Key Account Manager), you’ll be the driving force behind reliable and consistent contract delivery across aged care, schools, retail and corporate office locations. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence, risk mitigation, and a safe, healthy environment for all facility users, employees, and subcontractors. You’ll champion governance, foster a high-performance culture, and continuously seek improvement opportunities that elevate both ISS and our clients. This role is pivotal in managing diverse client sites and coordinating with our Key Facilities Delivery Teams to ensure seamless FM service integration. Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement You’ll collaborate with a wide network of internal and external partners, including: ISS departments (Asset Management, Procurement, HR, HSEQ, etc.) Facility Managers and Service Delivery teams Client representatives, subcontractors, and government agencies Industry associations and field technicians Key Responsibilities Lead contract delivery and ensure alignment with strategic plans and client expectations Identify and manage risks, incidents, and stakeholder concerns through established processes Drive portfolio performance to maximise growth, profitability, and service quality Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives and key stakeholders Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Ensure compliance with ISS procedures and standards Uphold ISS values: Honesty, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility, Quality, and Unity What We’re Looking For Tertiary education in facility management, business administration, project management, or similar Proven experience leading a team of Facility Managers on a cleaning and grounds service delivery contract Knowledge of building compliance and risk management practices Skilled in issue resolution, problem solving, and delivering presentations Change management and effective communication Strategic problem solving and business development Relationship building and stakeholder engagement Report writing and auditing skills Why Join Us?
