Team Leader – Housekeeping Hotel Mountain Heritage & Falls Mountain Retreat | Blue Mountains We’re on the lookout for a natural leader with an eye for detail and a heart for hospitality to join our Housekeeping team across Hotel Mountain Heritage and Falls Mountain Retreat . About the Role As the Team Leader – Housekeeping , you’ll be the right-hand support to our Housekeeping Manager, helping coordinate the day-to-day rhythm of our operations. You’ll make sure rooms sparkle, guests feel at home, and your team feels motivated and supported every step of the way. You’ll lead from the front — allocating tasks, checking rooms, mentoring the team, and keeping standards sky-high across both properties. What You’ll Be Doing Operational Leadership Lead daily housekeeping operations across both properties Allocate tasks, manage workflow and keep the team on track Check rooms and public areas to ensure everything’s guest-ready Make sure check-ins and check-outs run like clockwork People & Culture Step up for the Housekeeping Manager when needed Train, coach and mentor your team with care and confidence Foster a supportive, positive and inclusive culture Guest Experience Jump on guest feedback with professionalism and warmth Partner with Front Office and Maintenance to keep everything seamless Set the standard in presentation and service Safety & Compliance Promote a clean, safe, and hazard-free workspace Handle chemicals and equipment responsibly Report hazards or maintenance needs promptly What We’re Looking For You’ll have: Availability to work full-time (Saturday–Wednesday roster) Experience in housekeeping within a hotel or serviced apartment setting The confidence to lead and motivate a team Strong time management and an eagle eye for detail A guest-first attitude and great communication skills Reliability, initiative, and the ability to jump in hands-on Bonus points if you have: 2 years in a Team Leader or Supervisory role Experience across multi-property or boutique hotels Familiarity with RMS or similar systems Why You’ll Love Working With Us Be part of a close-knit, passionate team surrounded by the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains Opportunities to grow your career and receive ongoing training Supportive, down-to-earth leadership Competitive salary and great perks Rostered days off: Thursday & Friday Free on-site parking Employee benefits program including discounted stays across our group Health & wellbeing benefit payment If this sounds like your next step, we’d love to hear from you — apply now and bring your leadership and warmth to our mountains team!
