This is a HACC Team Leader role with Uniting based in Sydney, NSW, AU Uniting Role Seniority - mid level More about the HACC Team Leader role at Uniting No Information We are looking for an experienced and qualified Team Leader to join our Home and Community Care team, supporting our Sydney Central & North region. This role is based across our Chatswood and Lilyfield offices at a time of exciting change and opportunity. The role is for a fixed term initially but with the changes in our business currently we believe there is likely to be a opportunity for it to be ongoing. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing guidance, leadership, support, coaching and mentoring to a team of Aged Care community employees across the Sydney Central & North region. Key Responsibilities Include Leading, coaching, supporting and mentoring a team of Support Workers that provide services to Aged Care clients in their own home Monitoring the standards of service provided so that staff performance, training and service quality requirements are understood and met, resulting in job satisfaction and retention of staff Maintaining the Support Worker’s confidence and meeting required Key Performance Indicators and quality standards Engagement with clients and support workers using our custom built phone systems Qualifications And Experience Desirable is a Certificate IV in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent qualification OR working towards Demonstrated experience in leading a team of Support Workers Demonstrated understanding of client-centred practice Demonstrated experience/knowledge of Allied Health or Community Aged Care Services Demonstrated experience in working as part of a progressive and pro-active team Current First Aid Certificate About Uniting Uniting NSW.ACT contributes to the work and mission of the Uniting Church in NSW and the ACT through social justice advocacy, community services and spiritual care.
