Job Description About the Company Join a leading global consultancy working in partnership with one of Australia’s most respected insurance organisations. This client is embarking on a major, multi-year cloud transformation program, upgrading its Guidewire Claims Center platform to a modern, cloud-based architecture. About the Role As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the Guidewire Claims Center cloud upgrade. This is a technofunctional position where you’ll bridge business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and implemented effectively. You’ll work across integration capability, data migration, and system functionality, contributing to both the discovery phase and subsequent delivery stages. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support the upgrade of Guidewire Claims Center to a cloud environment. Analyse and document integration requirements, data migration strategies, and system workflows. Work closely with delivery partners to ensure alignment across technical and business deliverables. Provide insights into system functionality and assist with testing and validation activities. Facilitate workshops, produce high-quality documentation, and maintain clear communication channels between technical and business teams. Attend onsite meetings in Sydney with delivery partners and internal stakeholders as required. The Successful Candidate To thrive in this role, you will bring: Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the last 3 years) as a Business Analyst on Guidewire Claims Center projects. Strong understanding of integration architecture and data migration processes within insurance platforms. A technofunctional skillset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to attend the Sydney office 3 days per week. Desirable: Experience working on cloud migration projects. Familiarity with Guidewire upgrade methodologies and vendor collaboration.
