About Us: Our client is a leading Investment Management firm dedicated to delivering excellence in investment solutions for their clients. They are looking for a skilled fund accountant to come in and assist with their day to day BAU activities and reporting for at least 6 months with the view to extend. Position Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join their Fund Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements for investment funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing comprehensive financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment products. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements for various Listed and Unlisted Funds and SPV's in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Coordinate with auditors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth audits and regulatory compliance. Ensure accurate calculation of NAV (Net Asset Value) for funds and prepare related reports for clients and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of fund accounting and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software and reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. CPA or CA qualification is a plus but not required.
