Connect, Chat, and Create Joy in Someone’s Day! A warm-hearted female volunteer is needed in the Green Valley area! A lovely lady, aged and full of stories, would love a friendly visitor to spend an hour with her once a week. She enjoys chatting, sharing experiences, and simply having some company during the day. If you have a little time to connect and brighten someone’s week, this is a wonderful way to make a meaningful difference in your community. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • 1 hour Weekly visits, we will work out a time to suit your availability between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday.
