Freight Handlers - Location: Bankstown | Ongoing Work We're currently seeking reliable and hardworking Freight Handlers to join our team for ongoing work based in Bankstown , working with one of Australia's largest 3PL companies Key Responsibilities Load and unload racks, containers, and pallets using both manual handling and lifting equipment. Sort, stack, and move freight in a safe and organised manner. Regularly handle heavy and bulky items (up to 70kg ). Check freight against manifests for accuracy and condition. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere to all workplace safety policies. Work collaboratively with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to meet delivery schedules. Follow all WHS procedures and use correct manual handling techniques. Important Notes This is a repetitive, physically demanding, and fast-paced role. Successful candidates who are comfortable lifting heavy items frequently . The work environment has a high pace and energy , and maintaining that level of performance is essential - those unable to keep up may not be suited to the role. A roller system is being introduced to assist with moving freight, but significant manual lifting will still be required. All candidates must pass a Drug and Alcohol Test before commencing work. Police Check (preferred) - candidates who already hold one will be highly regarded. Medical fitness questions must be completed as part of the screening process. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 10-15kg regularly , with heavier lifting also required as part of the role. Shift Times Morning Shift: 5:00am start Day Shift: 10:00am start Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm start (Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.) Requirements Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, or logistics preferred (but not essential). Physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting safely.
