Our client, One of Australia’s largest ready meal company is seeking a Chiller Storeperson located in Arndell Park. We think outside the box by redefining recruitment. Machine Operator 10:00am - 6:06pm 5:00am - 1:06pm Environment: Cold storage facility (Chiller 0–5°C, occasional freezer work at -18°C) Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor food processing machinery for raw and finished food products. Prepare, handle, and process raw ingredients according to recipes, production plans, and quality standards. Maintain accurate control of production parameters (temperature, mixing times, weights, etc.) to ensure consistency. Conduct quality inspections throughout all stages — from raw ingredient intake to finished product. Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations (HACCP, GMP). Perform cleaning and sanitation of machinery and production areas between batches. Requirements: Receive, inspect, and store raw ingredients (meat, vegetables, dairy, grains, spices, etc.) safely and hygienically. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Feed ingredients into processing machines such as grinders, mixers, slicers, fillers, or cookers. Adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and product quality. Monitor cooking, cooling, or blending processes, ensuring correct temperatures and times are maintained. Conduct routine quality checks (texture, colour, weight, temperature, and pH). Clean, sanitize, and perform basic maintenance on equipment after each production cycle. Ensure accurate recording of production data, batch numbers, and ingredient traceability. Follow allergen control and cross-contamination prevention measures. Assist with product changeovers and equipment setups for new production runs Experience: Experience working in a food manufacturing or processing facility (essential). Exposure to raw ingredient handling, batching, and blending (highly desirable). Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and safe food handling practices. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues. Previous experience operating process machinery (e.g. mixers, cookers, fillers, conveyors, or packaging lines).
