This is a 6-month fixed-term contract to assist us through a busy period, where we look at process improvements, automations and year-end close. What you'll actually do: Review Transactional accounting work, ensure data quality and of high accuracy. Prepare and collate the monthly reconciliations of allocated balance sheet accounts for all entities in the group. Work with the broader finance team for the month-end and year-end close. Working with external consultants on the VAT preparation, review and lodgment with the UK HMRC. Assist the team in preparing for and working through the yearly audit process. What you bring to the table: You have a solid understanding of financial accounting principles. You're a CA/CPA qualified professional with experience in tax accounting. You have experience in preparing month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close. You have strong MS Excel experience, including VLOOKUP, DataLookups and PivotTables. You can work within a cross-functional, global team and have some flexibility in hours.
