Job Title: Field Service Technician – Garage & Gate Automation Location: Malaga, Perth Salary: $110,000 super Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client is a leading provider of garage door and gate automation solutions, delivering innovative products across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The Role In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing garage and gate automation systems, while providing technical support and training to customers and dealers. You’ll work on-site, manage your own service vehicle, and ensure customers get the most out of their automation systems. This is a full-time, permanent role offering exposure to the latest residential and commercial automation technology. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site repairs and maintenance on garage door and gate automation systems. Provide technical support and training to retail and professional customers. Assist branch staff with customer queries and product support. Keep detailed service records in a CRM system. Maintain service vehicle and tools to a high standard. Support branch operations as needed. What Our Client is Looking For Experienced service technician with strong electromechanical skills. Minimum 4 years experience in a technical/service role, ideally in consumer or light industrial products. Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work autonomously and manage your schedule effectively. Current Australian driver’s license (clean driving record essential). Forklift license or willingness to obtain. Working at Heights Certificate (EWP) desirable. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, computer literate (MS Office, CRM experience beneficial).
