As our Facilities Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our workplace runs smoothly and professionally, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to our teams and guests. You’ll be based in our 60 Margaret St Office in Sydney and will help support the daily operations of ING’s tenancy. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent time management and a commitment to providing a polished and professional environment. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in facilities management within a dynamic corporate environment. Are you ready to make an impact? What you’ll do Prepare and reset meeting rooms and event spaces, including furniture arrangements. Coordinate beverage and catering requirements to ensure a seamless experience for attendees. Assist with audio-visual equipment setup and troubleshoot to support meetings and presentations. Support the Facilities Coordinator with day-to-day tasks. Assist with general maintenance, floor walks, and reception coverage. Manage the Facilities inbox, process security access forms, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. What we’re looking for Previous experience working as a Facilities Assistant or similar in a corporate environment is highly regarded but not essential. We are open to candidates from different industries who have strong administration and organisational skills. Comfortable with manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving furniture in accordance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) guidelines. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and experience with the MS Meeting Room Booking system. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams (e.g., IT, Executive Assistants, Team Assistants) and with external vendors, including building management. A proactive mindset and the ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Please note this role is based in our 60 Margaret St Office, Monday to Friday. What’s in it for you?
