Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and flawless delivery of Public Sector Network’s event portfolio. The role requires exceptional event management expertise , a commitment to outstanding customer service, and the ability to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. PRIMARY PURPOSE Deliver Exceptional Events: Manage the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of events — including large-scale conferences, exhibitions, roadshows, webinars, hybrid and virtual formats — ensuring flawless execution, high standards of professionalism, and strong client satisfaction. Coordinate Seamless Operations: Work closely with internal departments and external partners to align objectives , streamline processes, and deliver cohesive, well-supported events that reflect PSN’s brand and standards. Lead Event Logistics: Take ownership of event timelines, logistics , and supplier coordination, ensuring all elements are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality. Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with delegates, speakers, sponsors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and long-term engagement. Optimise Financial Performance: Manage event budgets pre- and post-event, monitor expenditure, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure all items are cost-effective while maximising value. Contribute to Team Success: Collaborate within the operations team and across departments to ensure events are promoted, supported, and delivered to the highest standard. Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyse post-event feedback, budgets, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in future events. RESPONSIBILITIES End-to-End Event Management: Take full ownership of assigned events, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion. Oversee briefing, planning, scheduling, on-site/virtual delivery, and post-event evaluation, ensuring each stage is executed to the highest standard. Project Planning & Timelines: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and critical paths, allocating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met across multiple concurrent events. Logistics & Supplier Coordination: Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers including venues, AV, catering, staging, design, and print. Ensure contracts are cost-effective, deliverables are met, and contingency planning is in place. Delegate Engagement: Manage delegate communications and engagement strategies, including invitations, registrations, reminders, and post-event follow-up. Monitor retention, troubleshoot issues, and provide a positive delegate experience. Speaker Management: Liaise with speakers on scheduling, AV needs, bios, and presentations. Ensure session materials are collected on time and pre-event rehearsals or technical checks are conducted where . Sponsor & Partner Liaison: Manage communications and deliverables for sponsors and partners. Ensure contract obligations are met, branding and activations are delivered, and sponsors receive measurable ROI.
