Estimator – Insurance & Refurbishment Projects | Brisbane Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 super Location: Brisbane, QLD Type: Full-time, permanent Ipswich Gold Coast South West Brisbane About the Company A growing construction business delivering insurance repair, refurbishment and commercial projects across Queensland and New South Wales. With an in-house team of licensed trades and a strong focus on quality, reliability, and client satisfaction, this builder has built a solid reputation for getting things done right and on time. As project volume increases, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join the Brisbane office and play a key role in pricing and securing upcoming work. About the Role You’ll be responsible for end-to-end estimating on a wide range of projects — from insurance repairs and residential rebuilds through to small-to-medium commercial refurbishments. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and budgets. Analyse plans, specifications, and scope of works. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and scope clarification. Assist with variations and cost reviews during live projects. Support project and operations teams to deliver on budgets and KPIs. Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating systems and templates. About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating within construction or insurance repair. Strong understanding of building trades, cost breakdowns, and take-offs. Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines under pressure. Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management. Proficient in estimating software (Buildsoft, Cubit, or similar).
