About You Estimating experience in civil construction or infrastructure (Senior: 7 years). Confident reviewing drawings, contracts and technical specs. Accurate cost estimates, rate build-ups and tender documents. Comfortable working with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay steady during tight tender deadlines. Familiar with estimating software (e.g., CostX, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar). A practical, down-to-earth approach and resilience when things get busy. About the Role Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for civil projects across Sydney. Review plans, identify risks and flag any gaps early. Source and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing. Work closely with project teams through bid stages. Contribute ideas to improve accuracy, efficiency and tender success. Support or mentor junior estimators, depending on your level. Assist with post-tender reviews and cost tracking when required.
