About the School Since opening on January 21, 1878, our school has a long history of providing quality education opportunities for children of Aramac and surrounding shires. Students are blessed with small student to teacher ratios to ensure students reach their highest potential. At present, Aramac State School has an enrolment of over 50 students in Kindy to Year 10.Aramac State School provides children with a whole school curriculum supported by a range of extra-curricular activities in hospitality, sport, and music. These wonderful educational experiences are aimed at providing children with additional options to further their skills.The staff are a mix of youth and experience who offer quality learning programmes with a consistent approach across the whole school. The school is recognised within the community as an essential focal point for a very active and supportive parent body.Our three school rules Be safe, Be responsible and Be respectful are the guiding pillars in our school and the community. Students are explicitly taught how to interact with these different rules and what they mean. Your Responsibilities As the Head of Department - Curriculum, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. * Embed socially just practices in daily school life. * Set high standards for student and staff performance. * Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development. * Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
