Job Description Energy Trading Optimisation Analyst Location: Sydney (flexible to candidates across east coast) Join a fast-growing team driving Australia’s clean energy transition. They develop advanced software solutions for large-scale batteries and hybrid renewable systems, optimising operations and market performance across the National Electricity Market (NEM). What You’ll Do: Support and enhance battery trading software. Integrate trading strategies and automate market orders. Monitor asset performance and market signals. Develop features using Java, Python, and modern frameworks. What You Bring: Experience as a trader or trading analyst in the NEM. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. Strong coding skills (Python) in event-driven systems. Familiarity with low-latency architectures and real-time control.
